How to use them?

Broccoli microgreens are best used fresh, as an addition to prepared dishes. They go well with sandwiches, salads, wraps, eggs, cottage cheese, hummus, vegetable spreads, cream soups, bowls, pasta, rice, and dishes with fish, chicken, or tofu. They have a delicate, fresh taste, so they pair well with both simple breakfasts and more elegant dishes. They can also be used as a natural plate garnish. They do not require heat treatment and best retain their properties in raw form.

What benefits do broccoli microgreens offer?

Broccoli microgreens are a natural source of valuable plant compounds, such as chlorophyll, polyphenols, vitamin C, carotenoids, and glucosinolates, which are compounds characteristic of cruciferous plants. A particularly important component of broccoli is glucoraphanin, from which sulforaphane can be formed, a compound studied for its role in supporting the natural protection of cells against oxidative stress. They may also be notable for their content of magnesium, iron, manganese, and phenolic compounds
